Monitoring and control unit of vaporizers for cryogenic gases
VAPOSWITCH is an advanced automated system designed to optimize and extend the efficiency of industrial vaporizers.
It seamlessly alternates vaporizers between operating and regeneration modes at preset intervals, and proactively intervenes in the event of a fault or low outlet-temperature alarm—ensuring continuous, reliable system performance.
Flexible by design, VAPOSWITCH supports two plant configurations:
Dual atmospheric vaporizers operating in alternating cyclesA high-performance water-bath vaporizer in primary service, supported by two atmospheric backup unitsIn the first configuration, VAPOSWITCH manages the alternating duty and regeneration cycles according to its intelligent timing logic.
In the second configuration, the water-bath vaporizer remains in continuous service; if a temperature drop or fault occurs, the system automatically transitions to a controlled backup mode using the atmospheric vaporizers, applying the same smart regeneration strategy.
VAPOSWITCH ensures maximum uptime, optimized energy performance, and long-term equipment protection — delivering peace of mind and operational excellence.
- Switch over functions based on regular intervals of time, anticipated in case of malfunction or low temperature alarms referred to two preconfigured plants settings:
- Plant 1: Two Ambient Vaporizers
- Plant 2: H2O vaporizer + two backup Ambient Vaporizers
- Local and remote monitoring for line temperatures, output pressure, valves status and alarms with associated ID
- Wide display of 4 lines x 20 characters with LED backlight
- Yellow and red alarm lights for High and Low priority alarm status
- Acoustic alarm signal with acknowledge pushbutton (Alarm ACK)
- Alarm recovery time adjustable from 1 to 99 minutes
- Programming by encoder on the front panel
- Visual indication of valves status on front panel
- Auxiliary output switches for external cumulative alarm indicator or hooters
- 4 integrated pilot solenoid valves
- System restart by pushbutton on front panel
- Proprietary network protocol CRIONet
- Remote monitoring through CrioSystemSupervisor platform (MOD-COM modem required)
