SDAM Network – Intelligent Alarm Monitoring Network
Reliable supervision for medical gas alarm systems
The SDAM Network is Ambra Sistemi’s distributed system designed for the monitoring and management of alarm signals in medical gas installations. SDAM devices supervise alarm conditions across gas plants and pipelines, ensuring immediate visibility of critical events in accordance with European directives and safety standards.
Devices such as SDAL-Med provide dedicated alarm monitoring for medical gas systems and pipeline infrastructures, enabling continuous supervision of pressure switches, sensors and plant status.
Different models are available to suit various installation requirements, including L5 / L5c and L9 alarm units with five or nine inputs for sensor signals, as well as repeater units R4, R5 and R9 for distributed alarm visualization.
All SDAM devices can be connected through a local RS485 communication network, supporting the proprietary SdamNetPlus protocol or the standard Modbus RTU slave protocol, allowing centralized supervision of up to 62 networked units.
Designed and manufactured entirely in-house, the SDAM network integrates seamlessly with SCADA systems, BMS platforms and Ambra Sistemi supervision solutions, enabling centralized alarm management, remote diagnostics and complete operational traceability.
Smart alarm monitoring. Connected gas systems. Safer healthcare infrastructures.

Complete In-House Design and Production
Every monitoring device is conceived, engineered, assembled, and tested entirely within Ambra Sistemi facilities. This ensures exceptional reliability, rapid technical support, and long-term availability of spare parts for all cryogenic tank monitoring systems.

Centralized Alarm Monitoring
Multiple SDAM units can be connected through the RS485 network, enabling centralized supervision and management of alarm conditions across the entire installation.
Reliable and Scalable Network Architecture
Support for SdamNetPlus and Modbus RTU protocols ensures seamless communication with SCADA systems, BMS platforms and external supervision networks.

Reduced Costs and Increased Operational Efficiency
Automated data acquisition, predictive maintenance, and centralized monitoring reduce field interventions, optimize gas logistics and deliveries, and improve the overall efficiency of cryogenic tank management.
